after reading those instructions guess i'm supposed to uninstall noveau
module? I uninstalled nvidia when it complained about nvidia moduel. I
have no idea how to do boot with no modules. would I even be able to
boot into a gui? lmaothis is nuts. could I even test steam and the
nvidia drive
I tired that command but it says command not found on my system. Using
latest kubuntu iso installed today.

I think it is possibly caused by steam. I can recreate the issue, cause
the lines to show in dmesg. By opening up Steam, load a game, then
quit the game, and then quit steam. Then the new error lines will be
there. As I said though it doesn't happen on 3.19 kernel.

that cs:go crash was when i tabbed to the desktop I think I was low on
ram, probably unrelated. don't know about those libgl errors. I know
that is needed for steam. Could it be caused by the nvidia driver?
I had the same issue on linuxmint when upgrading to the 4.4 kernel so I
just stuck with
my solution to this exact issue was to unplug the ethernet cable while
installing.

To work around this bug, i first used sleep for 10 seconds. but doesn't
always work on reboot. So i found that also putting terminal=true
makes it work consistently every time.

I have the same problem on Lubuntu 15.04. Firefox profile works but
chromium does not.
Adding the suggested lines to the usr.bin.chromium-profile do not help.

Hello, I have the same problem as din99 in post #17. My syslog is
filled with endless "ignored relative path" messages.
Systemctl status for me also shows just a handful of processes with the
same message.
Does this mean ureadahead is not working right? I disabled it just in
case.

I have the same issue as the OP and Johny Rogers. System boots
successful and notifies me cryptsetup was successful but first it
displays the unkown fs type, bad option password message. This started
happening after upgrading lubuntu to wily.
