time, i tried to launch them in a konsole and then i've found out that it is
attempting to do something several times and that's the reason..

With gnome and nm-applet i have no problem, i have configured my static IP
connection and it works just right, but if i change to KDE 4 (it uses
knetworkmanager to manage the connection) then it just does not recognize it
and even if i introduce it again it doesn't work.

My laptop is a Samsung r70-A009 and i am using right now the beta
version of Kubuntu intrepid ibex desktop amd64.
Using the linux distribution without installing anything else, with the network
manager tool i just cannot see the different wireless networks.

I've just upgrade to network manager 0.7~~svn20081004t225044-0ubuntu1 version,
and still not working here.
I am not an expert so maybe i am missing something!... i looked into my
/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist file and i am sure e1000e is not there..
And i configure my network card with static IP but
I can confirm that the wireless card Intel PRO/Wireless 3945BG is not working
with the most new version of the 2.6.27 kernel (the one that Ubuntu Intrepid
Ibex beta brings).

I reinstaled ubuntu and now everything works fine.. before i instaled
ubuntu 11.04 beta, and even if i updated it, apt auto completion didn't
work.. its working fine now anyway.

I want to add that the indicator plugin is actually there.. i mean there
are not icons and its very small but if you click in the area where it
should be you can even access to the functionality. I attach a
screenshot to explain that.

Nikolay try uninstallyng the package appmenu-gtk. This solve this
problem and few other bugs with xfce for me.
This should be considered as a bug anyway as there should be consistency
among all the package system of ubuntu / xubuntu
