[Bug 244353] Re: [ooo-build] OpenOffice exports PDF with arabic numerals instead of regular numbers

I have the same type of problem on Ubuntu 9.04 (64-bit) with the Ubuntu OpenOffice (3.0.1). Upon PDF export, some numeric characters in Math equations are replaced, especially in sub and superscripts. Using a colleague's OpenOffice 3.1.0 on Windows XP, no PDF export problem was encountered and the

I have followed Graham Inggs advice, and removed the 'blcr-dkms' package. No other packages seemed to depend on it on my system. I have thus far encountered no problems after removal of said package (Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 64bit) You will probably not see me again on this Launchpad bug page, as Ubuntu w

If the patch works, when will it be distributed to normal users (i.e. those who do not know how to compile kernels themselves) via the Ubuntu upgrade manager? I received an software update today (which included a kernel update), and the bclr error message was still there (Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 64-bit,

During a new auto-upgrade (after vacation, on 64-bit Precise) I actually received the bclr-related error message twice. For the rest my system is working just fine. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchp

Also still happening on Precise Pangolin 64 bit...(regular auto update with new kernel) I was happy to see 'Fix Committed', but it has gone back to 'Confirmed'? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.ne

In spite of the fix having been committed (Rubens, 2012-06-06), the bug still shows up when doing the latest (standard, automated) kernel upgrade (buntu 12.04 LTS, 64 bit) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.la

Bug happened to me while doing a regular update using Update Manager. My Ubuntu installation contains nothing particular (vanilla, with many universe/multiverse etc. packages installed) Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (64-bit, upgraded 1 month ago from 10.04 LTS) used for scientific office work -- You received
