I have similar issue, but I don't remember/know if this was fine before
I added exclusions. Now it throws errors even if you delete all
exclusions, shutdown activity-log-manager and start it again.

I don't know if it helps, but in OpenJDK 1.6.0_22 everything works just
fine, but maybe you use icedtea6-plugin and I use icedtea-plugin.

I also used Lucid-bleed PPA https://launchpad.net/~lucid-
bleed/+archive/ppa witch has audacity 1.3.12-4 & ffmpeg 0.6-2, but
they're not compatible, I can't import FFmpeg libraries because of the
same error: "undefined symbol: match_ext"
