Thanks @randyyang (randy-yaj). I aplied what he says in #37 and now I
can have Inkscape 0.48 and NetBeans 7.4 working together. I cant copy
and paste from Inkscape to Gimp, but that is a minor problem. I am in
Ubuntu 12.04.
I hope it helps someone, have a good day

Again, it "looks like" it is working. This is what I have finally done:
- reinstall a fresh copy of Lubuntu 14.04 without updating software. Just the

I'd like to chime in that your update worked great for me too Philip. I

Sorry I didn't make that clear. I meant that from a stock Natty
install, the RAID 0 array showed up fine, but the RAID 1 array did not.
After using your ppa, now both function correctly. Both are pdc_xx

I would like to say I'm affected by this bug too. I have an HP DM1z

which would be indicated by the fan stopping, and the blue LED on the

Tom, the thing is that the AMD Catalyst drivers allow for proper sleep
with Ubuntu Maverick and the 2.6.35 kernel and Xorg 1.9. I'd be
interested to hear if someone tries Maverick with the 2.6.38 kernel and
Xorg 1.10 with the Catalyst 11.5 and see if it allows sleep on the e350

As for video
This was not fixed with Catalyst 11.5.
