a kernel-issue! I can't get lid-events neither on windows, nor on old

depending on the filesystem-type (like iocharset, shortname, etc) for removable
media in KDE 3, I have not found any way to acchieve this in KDE 4 (using KDE
4.1 RC1 at the moment).

I don't know why but since today's upgrade suspend/resume works fine for
me even *without* removing the ehci_hcd module... Although it doesn't
seem like linux-image has been upgraded today :/... Can anybody confirm
that suspend is working again?

(keyboard, mouse, external hd) are working perfectly (before and after

updates. With the new 2.6.24-kernels the lid-button of my Samsung X20
seems to be completely broken. It worked flawlessly with the
2.6.20-kernels from feisty. Since suspend

current 2.6.22-Kernel resume only works from time to time, and if it works
first the harddisk-LED is lit up for some minutes (the computer doesn't

Indeed switching to hardy bochsbios fixed the problem for me. I'm now using
gutsy qemu and hardy bochsbios. I installed bochsbios using:
