Now I installed final release with hoping it was fixed but It did not
work again and now ''radeon.modeset=0'' doesen't work

seen the problem on launchpad with people have same machine.When ı tried

I tried 5 min ago and it worked but the performance is not good with
this drivers so I have to install the driver in the hardware drivers but
the last time ı had installed it was terrible on lucid; compiz was
turned off and when I tried to select normal level effects it said me
the effects couldn't
I am still fighting with this problem .ı had some succesful installs
when checked efi , virtualization etc. section in bios but ı got bored .
now ı use 7 because of this problem :(.I hopefully waiting for new
LTS.

I had same problem ,I finally got it working,first went to
File->Reinstall Previous Purchases the logged in,after that instead of
instaliing the items from there searched on USC then found which doesnt
say Previous Purchase in parathesis it worked out

didn't see anythign visibly affected, although something must have
crashed for it to show up.
