We are moving to the UXA acceleration architecture for Karmic, and this

It is a harmless warning and can be ignored.
The other issues you reported
I think this can be closed, with xrandr 1.3 now available.
The multiple video card issue is covered by bug 316514 already.
The old 6.6.3 driver no longer builds against the current xserver, so
isn't an easy option any longer.

We messed around a bunch with different migration heuristic options with
the intel driver. Certainly there were some measurable improvements
when using greedy, however it was found to cause graphics corruption on
some systems (indeed, corruption issues are to be expected by design
with greedy).

2.7.1 advertises some freeze fixes. I've packaged it for jaunty. It's
available in the x-updates ppa:
