Unfortunately, I copied my kdmrc file from a kde3 installation which
most certianly does store clear text passwords in the file. Perhaps
kde4 has fixed this.

layer in fs/namei.c, AUFS will not build without AppArmor.
It is proposed that we either:
1: Ifdef the AppArmor changes made to fs/namei.c.
2: We have a copy of fs/namei.c called something like

If we are to take the AUFS code as it is now in the Ubuntu kernel tree
and try to get it to compile we would need to ifdef the AppArmor changes

I had enabled hardy-proposed and upgraded libldap-2.4-2 and tested for
bug #215904. At the time I tested it really seemed to help reduce
crashing, but still crashed from time to time. After the update it
crashed much less often, maybe 2 times per day rather than once every 30
min.

Turns out that SECURITYFS was not configured into the kernel and this is
what was leading to the oops. A change is being made to the Kconfig for
AA so that when AA is configured, SECURITYFS is as well.

The popup always says:
"Computer is running on AC power
Laptop battery fully charged (99%)"
whether it's plugged in or not
I ran "acpi -V" while it was plugged and while it was running on battery and it
shows the correct information.

Battery
This is still a problem on Edgy Knot 1 except that "Pause" works out of
the box. "Pause" is the same key as play, but only the "Pause" action
works.
