it crashed with big text files, here is one of them. maybe your compiler
is configured differently than mine? AFAIK ubuntu's compiler enables
stack protection by default, but other distributors might choose to
disable it to avoid the little performance hit.

I've got the same problem, starting the indexer manually (with the
command /usr/lib/tracker/tracker-indexer) solves it but after a few
seconds the indexer crashes, here is the error I get:

I was affected by bug #319118, I think it's a little bit different than this
bug but since it has been marked as duplicate I'm posting here.

I've tried pulseaudio 0.9.14-0ubuntu11~ppa1~ubuntu1, it worked like a
charm for about an half hour, then it stopped playing completely, I've
checked user.log, there was about 12 "snd_pcm_avail_update()

After the third crash I've tried to disable the nvidia (legacy) binary

Public bug reported:
after upgrading from ubuntu 9.10 to 10.04 beta tuxguitar wouldn't launch
anymore, instead it was crashing with this error message:

same here on natty, it happens when my computer starts playing any sound.
I think this problem is related to pulseaudio too, in one session pulseaudio
didn't start due to a failed update and this bug disappeared
