I installed kernel 2.6.27-10 to get acpi support on my Toshiba Portege R100 but
in fact it doesn't work completely...
i only can use the brightness keys and the mute key, volume up/down and all
other keys don't work at all.
i get an acpi event on all my fn keys. will there be an update to fix thi

i attached my running xorg.conf. With this xorg.conf, the standby resolution
problem should be solved.

Are there no more suggestions from the ubuntu-development team?
With every new release of ubuntu the support for Toshiba Portege R100 is
reduced.
Can you at least tell us why the ACPI Support under Karmic Koala is not given
anymore? Can the problem be solved with a manipulated self compiled kern

Touchscreen 0408:3000 working here with 12.04 3.2.0-24-generic and hid-
multitouch drivers. Before that i used it with 10.04 (singleclickonly)
and windows on another computer.

Same issue here with a Thinkpad X200s and built in Intel 5300 agn on 11.10 with
3.0.0.12-generic kernel.
After disabling n-draft, networkbitrate in iwconfig changed to 54mbit (802.11g)
but it is still very slow (Internet, browsing smb)
The same under normal n-draft conditions.

Same here, ran into the bug after installing 12.04 on my ThinkPad X200s wiht
xserver-xorg-video-intel driver...
Seems to be related to the intel graphicsdriverproblems under windows... (after
suspend no change of brightness possible)
Overall it's all intel...
