I can reproduce it (sorry, no log yet, will do that tomorrow). It
happens when the first connection is not successful (here at the
university that sometimes happens due to a slow DHCPv4 server or broken
EAP-PEAP radius) and I connect a second time.

BTW, it also happens when all other network configuration daemons

I have a Sony VAio VPCS11C5E with a Nvidia GT310m graphics card and its
the same as described by DeBo. On Natty alpha 1 the display and the
external monitor worked, I was able to configure them separately, but on
Natty alpha 2 the display remains black after GRUB.

This is still hitting me hard. I already updated to 2.13-0ubuntu1 and I
have the same issue that most programs won't start anymore. I'm back up
running using an older btrfs snapshot, but when I mount the updated
volume I can't even chroot into it and start bash.

Sorry for the delay, here is the promised debug log. I can still easily
reproduce this problem.
1) Set IPv6 to auto instead of ignore
2) connect to a (wireless?) network where IPv6 RA works fine (the client gets
an autoconfed address and route), but DHCPv4 fails to answer in time (shutdown

mouse cursor. It is not frozen though, I can move the mouse cursor just
fine and it changes shape when I get in the middle of the screen (over
the invisible password prompt). When I blindly enter my password the
screen gets unlo
Any news here? CONFIG_IPV6_ROUTER_PREF is still not set in natty
(2.6.38-7.38). Since Debian Squeeze ships with it it should be safe to
use.

I just had a lockup where the screen was not refreshed anymore except
