confirmed, any chance of getting that PPA version (or at least the fix
for this problem) into intrepid? I think this is the first time since at
least gutsy (maybe even feisty) I was able to open this applet on an

Same here. In my case, I think it even destroyed my gnome default
settings. Desktop looks different now because it didn't load the
standard settings.

Can confirm this and I think it's more than "Medium". I know it's still
in alpha but compiz is constantly crashing so I cannot use awn-dock nor

I tried to install checkgmail on intrepid following the instructions on

download.html but when I run the program, I get
