This still happens in official release. I expect that when I click a
wireless network, network manager should try connecting if there is a
saved setting for that ssid and ask details only if it is used first
time or settings are not valid anymore.

The program "postgres" is needed by initdb but was not found in the same
directory as "/usr/lib/postgres
It says that it is already installed. To reproduce the problem, I purged
postgresql-8.3 package, checked dpkg status and files under lib, tried
to install postgresql-8.3 again. The result is the same. I am also
unable to run initdb manually. You can find session log in the

OpenPrinting Splix 1.1.1 in Job 58.
The "filter not available" errors are due to me removing the
openprinting packages, I believe.

SpliX drivers fail, Foomatic/gdi drivers work.
I've tried:
* Printing a PDF from Acroread
* Printing a web page from Firefox
* Printing a test page from system-config-printer
* Printing a test page from the CUPS web interface
with both drivers.
In each case, the SpliX drivers produced garbage,

VLC loads subtitles correctly, but only if you use "File > Quick Open
File..." or "File > Open File...".
Changing line 11 in /usr/share/applications/vlc.desktop from
