I've added the "vga=0" and thins changed a bit. Now the xorg process
stops consuming 100% of the cpu cycles after the resume. However, the
screen doesn't resume properly and now has strange vertical lines. But
now i'm able to switch to tty1 with ctrl-alt-f1 and if i go back to X
diaplay 0 with alt

Resume the suspended system doesn't work.. The system seems to start the
resume operation but the screen remains black and it doen't respond to
any keystrokes. I have to do an hard shut down keeping the power button
pressed. (It worked fine on dapper)
