Apologies for late response.
I tried to explain in post sent on 2009-10-2, that this bug was solved with
linux-2.6.24-25 release.
I wasn't aware that I had to remove the "needs-upstream-testing" tag as
explained, which I have done now.
Hope that this closes the issue. Should I do anything else, p

laptop screen resolution is not automatically detected, as it used to be.

This bug caught me after the automatic upgrade to Hardy. WLAN did work
quite well before. No it doesn't any more.
When it tries to connect, it writes lots of the aforementioned messages
into the syslog
No packages with the requested plugins found
