I recreated the problem several times (each time I enable desktop

I tried installing Kubuntu Dapper about a month ago, and now Edgy, with
the exact same result: The LiveCD boots and runs ok, the installation
seems to complete successfully, but after the reboot, following the grub
menu in which I select the new installation, I get an error similar to

just cosmetics. At 1280x1024 with default settings, it's quite

In any case, it should either upgrade to 5.1, or leave 5.0, or ask which

I know that to do it manually I either do the whole mounted cd thing, OR
just install the virtualbox-ose-guest-utils... so how do we add this to
jockey?

As I mentioned, I do not use any encryption anywhere. I haven't noticed
any corruption problems, only lockups - but corruption and lockups sound
like two separate issues in any case... (just guessing there)
