Public bug reported:
Ubuntu 19.10 (eoan) currently has npm 5.8.0 and nodejs 10.15.2
According to https://nodejs.org/en/download/releases/
- npm 5.8.0 doesn't even exist?!?!
- the expected version of npm for nodejs 10.15.2 is npm v6.4.1
- npm/nodejs complains about compatibility issues when used
