I tried downgrading console-setup to 1.34ubuntu3 (I got the source package from
LP), but that did not fix the issue.
When I downgraded console-setup to 1.34ubuntu2 and Capslock LED worked
again !
So it seems that a change in 1.34ubuntu3 has caused the Capslock issue.

machine after downgrade. The Capslock LED issue won't get fixed unless I

Sound Quality is poor. When I am powering up the volume to 100% audio
sounds distorted. I am using Windows 8.1 in this very laptop as well
where the audio is working perfectly. So, it's not a hardware related
problem. Audio level is low too. Thanks.
