I tried to use Ubuntu 9.04 alternative install on my eeepc 900 because I
want to LVM the two SSDs.
I used unetbootin and supplied it with the iso image, this created a
bootable flash pen. However when I use it to try and install my eeepc
after a succesful boot it tells me it

SDB, then the rest of SDB is /home. /home is an encrypted LVM

I was missing kernel headers but kernel headers packages from the
website the kernel came from wont install...

Hi,
I have a O2+ODAC USB DAC unit.
14.04/15.10 output volume level is identical to Windows; in my case this
means that low gain and volume knob @ 12:00 is as loud as my ears can
handle.
Installed 16.04 today, volume level is considerably lower vs Windows
now. I can now pla
I checked in Alsamixer / pressed f6 / selected my sound card and found
the volume to be set at a reduced level. I increased the volume and
noted that original performance was restored.
This isnt exposed in the graphical volume controls for some reason...

To update this; the issue only happens when the laptop is in the Lenovo
Series 3 dock; I have also found a work around which doesnt involve
crashing X. If I undock and redock the laptop both screens wake up
correctly. The issue doesnt seem to be hapenning whe the laptop isnt
docked.

experiencing as well as to address some graphical corruption issues that
cropped up around the same time. Please close this bug.

I no longer have the laptop in question to test.
Normally installed encrypted lvm install updated from 9.10 to 10.04 OK.
