Sorry, I found out a week ago that it was a glitch with the phone
manager not letting the power manager run. not the nvidia driver. So I
guess I should go post this problem somewhere else. Sorry for the
confusion.

the gnome-power-manager to not run. Part of this is due to a bluetooth
module refusing to start in the on setting in the BIOS during boot.

Because of the power manager for gnome isn't loading on startup, it
causes a awkward delay in logging off or shutting down. However, if you
goto change the settings for the power manager, it loads up and does

When the Dell Optiplex sx270 runs the screen saver, it freezes and must
be unplugged to turn it off, searching and help from friends point
towards the graphics driver for the Intel 865G chipset inside the
system. This problem occurred after updating Ubuntu 8.04, fixing the

After setting up a few extra features and updating the packages, my
laptop install of jaunty 32-bit is bringing up the login window twice.
Both function as they should, but when it boots like this, my graphics
performance takes a painful hit and had brought up a Xserver error
Just encountered this bug in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS trying to backup my home
folder to 25GB BD-R discs. It saw the disk, but refused to do anything
with it.

This just occured to me while defining the stroke thickness of a custom path.
It happened while adjusting the nose of the attached svg file.
