Same here on a Fujitsu-Siemens C1110D laptop with Intel 82852/855GM.
I'm also using a docking station, but it's the same whereas the external
monitor is connected to it or directly to the laptop.

As my laptop is not the same brand, maybe we should rename this bug to

to get more hits when people search this error and try to get importance

Same here on a Fujitsu-Siemens C1110D with Intrepid Ibex beta. After
several attempts, falls back to "low graphics mode"...
Killed gdm, tried manual "X -configure"... still desperate !
Last time, I lost ksynaptics for my touchpad... this time I loose
graphics... Grr !
Mandriva seemed to have the same issue... and solved it !

ssid/wpa/psk with kubuntu 9.10.
