Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnucash
Ubuntu version: 9.04
GnuCash version: 2.2.6-2ubuntu5, but this bug also happens 2.2.9
We can't input Japanese (or Chinese, Korean) in GnuCash register via SCIM
properly.
This patch is backported from 2.3.9 to fix this problem.

(2) I/O information, which I can get from /sys/block/sd*/queue, is strange,
(3) parted and LVM can't calculate optimal disk geometries.
