Yes It has a disconnect: "CTRL-EVENT-DISCONNECTED - Disconnect event -
remove keys" in wpa_supplcant.
I attach the dmesg and wpa log from at work, where the wpa is working
like a charm as always.

I'm repeating that It seems a kernel problem: 2.6.27 is not working well
with wpa or encryption. Please all people having issues: Can u try with
2.6.24 or 2.6.22 or 2.6.20?
I've working great with 2.6.22 and 2.6.20. In 2.6.24 I've one kernel

Same here with iwl3945 driver.
The synthoms are the same, goig well on hardy, unusable in intrepid. I
tested kernel 2.6.24 and driver works.
Can you try if your driver work with the hardy kernel?

Problems with 2.6.27 kernels.
And not only iwl2945, tested with a usb zd1211 chip (3com)
I've tested with 2.6.24-19 and it's working well.
Now I'm testing with 2.6.22-14 and iwl3945 is not working, same behavior
as 2.6.27-6 (today's updates). BUT zd1211 is Working like a charm.

snd_hda_intel module, same issues.
Only for testing I've put a bug named ALSA not woking in a intel hda modules.

Confirmed.
Is the same problema. Pehaphs high priority is not enough in this bug... as
nowadays a platforms without video streaming will becamoe critical.
How can I help to debug this? I have a bq OTA-11 in stable channel.
there are some improvements to test or we are stalled?
