I found the issue, I had this installed from the Dell repo for 20.04 LTS: libfprint-2-tod1-goodix more specifically: libfprint-2-tod1-goodix_0.0.6-0ubuntu1_somerville1_amd64.deb This worked great with 20.04 and the fprintd version in there, but apparently it breaks the current version. Seems I ha
