Thanks ld2ndR for that script. For the ones wondering, although this is
marked as fixed, this is still an issue in Ubuntu. The script needs to
be added to saved and launched at session start via any start-up script
or the GUI 'Startup Applications'.

Hi folks,
it looks like that a fix of this bug has already been released. I really want
to get rid of this issue so does anybody know when this fix will be committed
to Ubuntu or how bypass the Ubuntu update process and install directly the new
version of network-manager ?
