Ubuntu 9.10 Have exactly the same situation (word by word) as dunxd on
my Laptop Samsung Q310. I can't try “the latest development release of
Ubuntu” or “the latest upstream kernel”, as it is my working laptop and
I need my system to by stable. Though I'm getting weekly updates from
default repos.
I can confirm this bug on my laptop Samsung Q310 (with Karmic). On
hibernate I get “btusb_bulk_complete: hci0 urb * failed to resubmit”. It
slows down the hibernation, so it's nearly faster to turn off/on the
laptop than going hibernate. Hope this bug would be fixed in Lucid.

You're right. I reinstalled my system (there is a separate /home
partition), and now there are now swap, root and home partitions on the
disk. After the reinstall, I made a full system upgrade, and there isn't
any problem. So I suggest, don't create a separate /boot partition (I

This fixed it for me as well. I'm running Kubuntu 12.04 and have an Intuos 2,
not 3. Still, I was having the exact same problem, and this fixed it. Thanks.

It looks like a lightdm bug. After upgrading to 1.2.3-0ubuntu2 the pam session
order changed on /etc/pam.d/lightdm.
To solve the problem a moved the line "session required
pam_env.so readenv=1 user_readenv=1 envfile=/etc/default/locale" to
appear before line "@include com
