themes. It is worst in the HighContrast-SVG theme, though (several
missing menu icons appear as solid dark orange circles).

I've also heard this - again, only in Ogg Vorbis files (which is most of
my music collection...), but MP3s don't seem to have problems.
And like the original reporter, totem has no problem playing the same
Ogg Vorbis files correctly.

I have the same problem(s). My main interactions with multiple desktops
are:
1. Hitting (Ctrl+1 - Ctrl+4) - (Ctrl+F1 - Ctrl+F4) (8 desktops) to
switch desktops. The implementation of the desktops as viewports within
the same workspace means that all the windows appear together in the
Task Switcher

Could somebody please take a look at this? It's a pretty significant bug
for me - I'm stuck in 1024x768 on a 1280x800 screen, so I've been stuck
with a blurry, distorted screen for a couple weeks now. I'd really
appreciate any feedback.

Sorry - this was a (confused) duplicate of #135141. Switching my X.org
video driver over to "intel" fixed the resolution problem (after reading
other bugs, I'm fairly sure I had the 915resolution package installed in
my Feisty install - and I don't in my Gutsy install).

On an i945GM, in up-to-date Gutsy, if I turn on Compiz, video apps crash
by default. If I change the Gstreamer video properties to use Xv, they
don't crash, but the video quality is bad (pixelated) and unaccelerated.
