I'm using Hardy (upgraded from Gutsy). In Firefox 3 I have all my
previous bookmarks, but when I bookmark something new (either in the
toolbar or the menu), those new bookmarks shows OK just until I quit
firefox. When I start it again, th

Hello,
I want to disable any start page for new firefox windows (i always had
firefox this way), but since Ubuntu Hardy it doesn't let me set a blank
page...
Steps:
1) Open preferences
2) Set a blank home page
3) If i do not open any other

starts" set to "Show my windows and tabs from last time" and that works great.

I have made the backtrace, but I didn't know exactly how to do it, so if
its not OK, please tell me how to do it correctly. The output of GDB
command and the backtrace is attached.
The run command was firefox's own run script, setting DEBUG=1.

Yes, it still hangs several times each morning. The only clue I have
for it, it's related to a Javascript countdown that is in a page
(ogame.com.es), when Firefox is displaying those countdowns it's more
probable(nearly always) that it will hang(it just disappears) than

I don't know, since I upgraded to Edgy (which comes with Firefox2) I
had no hangs in firefox. But before upgrading I was still having
arround 6 to 10 hangs in one morning (wich firefox 1.5.0.x from
Dapper).
Is there any Firefox 1.5.x package for Edgy so I could try if it still hangs?

Today I emptied the Trash but the files were "deleted" too fast and no
disk activity was noticed, so I started investigating and I found all
the Trash contents inside the folder ~/.local/share/Trash/expunged.
There was no problem with the permissions of the files as I have been
