The fix doesn't seem to work for me, i.e. I can't mount when I login
from SSH using public key auth. Also, I followed the instructions posted
above to create the symlinks in my unmounted Private directory, but the
files those symlinks should point to aren't there on my system.

I tested this and the issue as reported is fixed. I now get random
crashes in compiz while switching. I'll open a followup bug as soon as I
can collect some relevant information.

I thought this one had been fixed. I'm no longer seeing this as of 3.6.8
(running 3.6.8-0ubuntu3 from the natty repositories right now). Please
let me know if you need more information on my setup.
