Binary package hint: gnome-settings-daemon
gnome-settings-daemon_2.24.0-0ubuntu3.1_amd64.deb leaks memory at the
rate of a meg every few seconds, rendering the system unusable.
Reverting to gnome-settings-daemon_2.24.0-0ubuntu3_amd64.deb prevents
the problem from occuring.

hid2hci doesn't know about the reciever that comes with the Logitech MX
5500 keyboard/mouse combo. This is because the usb id is not in the
whitelist. The attached patch fixes it.

When using an mx1000 mouse with kernel 2.6.22-14-generic, the lmpcm_usb
driver is loaded. This driver cause many of the mouse buttons to be
reported as keyboard keys. When I blacklist that module, usbhid is used
