I used "update-manager -d" to upgrade from Hardy to Intrepid RC and it
was pretty smooth. Congrats!
The only minor gripe I had was that I had to install german language
support again, because that got partially uninstalled.
But it sure was the smoothest upgrade so far! Good

Today some updates to Lubuntu 12.04 change the behaviour to double tap = right
click.
I consider that a bug and would like to see it fixed. I have a right button my
me EeePC.
synclient TapButton3=3 TapButton2=2 fixes it temporarily.
With every Fedora and Ubuntu release these problems crop up,
Icons should be more animated and provide more features and Unity does
live in a Windows/OSX world so it should take into account what already
know.

AFAICS serial mice still not work automatically like in Windows 95 or
Mandriva etc. So still valid after 8 years.
