1. The translations in Gutenprint are incomplete, therefore there are
the untranslated strings which you have marked with a blue dot.
2. system-config-printer does not respect the encoding of the translated

It seems that the printer fails to connect in most cases. On a failed
attempt CUPS retries some minutes later, up to 5 times. So if you get
your job printed after 35 minutes, it is because some attempts to

SRU Proposal to fix the package: debdiff attached and package uploaded to
hardy-proposed. The patch contains the upstream commits 135, 136, and 137 from
http://bzr.openprinting.org/foomatic-3.0/foomatic-filters which fix the LSB
test failures.
