This has happened to me as well. I am kind of confused on this error
because I did get it once before when my system time was set
incorrectly, but I know my time is right, so what did I do wrong this
time.

I still get the same error I have installed the new version although I
also installed to old version from source eariler. Is there anyway I can
delete pithos completely (both source and PPA copy) and do a fresh
install and see if that fixes the error

The Kubuntu 12.04 Power Manager does not detect changes

The Kubuntu 12.04 installer does not allow me to choose a wifi network
when i install Kubuntu 12.04 this makes applying updates while
installing very difficult. The only reason this is a bug is because this
feature was around in earlier installers

This bug affected me in Kubuntu 10.04.4 in both 32 bit and 64 bit using
both unetbootin and Startup Disk creator. With Unetbootin there was just
a hanging and with Startup disk creator there was the same error. I
believe it is caused by version incompatibilities somewhere
