Would just like to mention that this now happens each time i run apt-get
install, because of AICCU not getting installed properly.

Same here.. Worked fine until now though. After reboot today, the
Windows7 entry was gone from the grub2-menu, and the grub os-prober
can't seem to find W7..

Same issue here on my Thinkpad R400 w/ Trackpoint & Touchpad. Was not a
problem with 10.04 x64, but really annoying on 10.10 x64. Pointer always
freeze up several times for several seconds after startup, and freeze
randomly later on.
I get messages such as these in syslog when the pointer is freez
