When mounting, a password dialog pops up that lets you enter the password. It
is closed however when the password was wrong which is not very useful.
It should give a message that the password was wrong and ask again, like

I think it makes sense to just add that option to xorg.conf when the nvidia
module is activated in restricted driver manger.
After I activated the module under hardy, it asked me to reboot and after
restarting it changed my resolution and refresh rate to really unusable values.

zoom and scale and thus makes scaled textures look pixelized. Expo
however looks fine. I enabled mimaps in ccsm for the plugins that

Filter in General that makes textures look the way I want.
However, this should not be used different in the plugins but maybe there

password. When entering something wrong, the message appears and after
clicking ok, the password window is gone. It's mainly a usability thing
since, naturally, after mistyping, you want to try again. So it should

I still get the same behaviour using debian packages with encfs 1.4.1.1
I created a new specific encfs dir. Copying files with rsync makes all files
have the current timestamp.

Ok, I got it working. It is though not because of Fuse which I updated from
version 2.7.2 to 2.7.3 but because I created the encfs folder with cryptkeeper
before which might have used the paranoia option by default, I'm not sure.

I had this exact problem too and found that it was caused by an old xorg.conf
from feisty that I copied over. The culprit was this line:
Option XKbVariant "de"
I removed it and all was fine again, so it might be because of a non-existing
variant in there for some.

One more thing I tried: After wake up, regardless of calling resume or not,
wpa_supplicant is reacting to wpa_cli ping and also does some stuff as can be
seen in the log. So it is probably not stuck but in a wrong internal state.
Additionally, it takes about 30 seconds after authentication until

Yes, it definitely is still happening with gnome 3 and alpha 3 of oneiric.
While this version was not upgraded to latest vesions of all packages, it
probably won't have itself solved magically.

Yes, I tried it with unity 2d, gnome shell and pure metacity, which all
show the same behaviour as described above. My guess is a problem with
the trackpoint driver or configuration of it as xev should behave the
same for either way of invoking a button 2 click.

Aha, interesting. My thinkpad r61 has this weird two kind of mice built
in, a touchpad with two buttons and a separate trackpoint with separate
three buttons. When using the middle button of those three, I get the
behaviour I described above. When using the middle bmouse button
emulation by pressin
For me it is called "Tomboy on the internet" (translated) which has an
ubuntu one notes url prefilled. It works just fine.

On trying it again, the problem seems to have changed (I normally don't
use long playlists that often in totem). It now only happens when the
list is actually not scrollable. So this might be the intended behaviour
and the original usability problem is solved.
