The problem is solved by installing the nfs-common version from gutsy.

Powerdevil is configured that, on battery, it will standby the laptop when
laptop lid is closed. This is a nice feature.
But when I shutdown my laptop on battery en close the laptop lid, ubuntu
I can confirm this bug.
I'm running an older jaunty 64-bit jaunty installation. And using a nvidia
quadro 140M.
The bug was not there size the beginning, It started a few weeks ago.
If I have some time, i will there to invastigate witch package is causing the
bug.

But libkipi0 conflicts with libkipi5.
So gwenview is uninstalled when installing kipi-plugins for digikam.
So i had to force the installation.

I'm still experiencing this issue in ubuntu jaunty.
It's a very irritating bug. I can't print a file to pdf quickly when i'm not at

When i install a local printer a default i don't have the problem. The print

I can confirm this bug.
When I suspend to ram using the battery monitor widget or the kmenu. Then
networkmanager widgets resumes fine.
But when i suspend using the hotkey combination "Fn" "esc" i have the same
problem as reported above.

There are some kde3 programs like amarok, konversation that can be installed in
intrepid.
I think kipi-plugins and digikam-kde3 are also needed.
Digikam kde4 is nice but note feature complete. You can't remove red eyes for
example.
