notifications, as I could tell by a simple grep. Giving HellaNZB a try
with Hellanzb.LIBNOTIFY_NOTIFY set to True didn't reveal any problems

I can confirm that the patch works perfectly. Great work! Is there any

thanks for reporting this bug! I initially wasn't notified about the
report because it was filed against the "lottanzb" package in Ubuntu and
not against the "lottanzb" project. This won't happen anymore in the
future.
There's indeed something wrong with the download directory option.
That's definitely a good idea. I assume that I didn't change much of the
code that's related to this but one never knows.
The routine that imports HellaNZB config files is in
modes/standalone.py:_import_existing_hella_config. One could check
whether dest_dir is ~/.hellanzb/done and if it's empty,

Just launched Natty Alpha 1 from a flash-drive. All rendering issues
seem to have gone and everything feels snappy, even without having a
proprietary graphics driver installed. I must say that I'm impressed by
the quality of this Alpha release, considering that in the case of
Unity, the switch to C

Are there any reasons not to move the panel to the top in GDM? The
consistency with the desktop could be increased even more by making the
panel (as well as the login pane) dark, since this is the default
setting for the desktop (Ambiance). This is of less importance than the
position, though.
