After upgrading my Samsung N150 to Raring (amd64), suspend/resume now
works out of the box. Previously, with Quantal, it needed the
intel_idle.max_cstate=3 kernel parameter. Looks like this bug has been

since upgrading to Maverick a few weeks ago. Both machines feature
(different) Broadcom WLAN cards and use bcmwl. Wifi throughput as
measured by iperf is about 12 Mbit/s on mains power but drops to
anything between 5 to 1 Mbit/

This problem remains unfixed in Maverick (beta).
I also tried the option mentioned in comment #47, but it doesn't seem to
do anything (no, I didn't forget to update-initramfs and reboot). I
guess it hasn't made into recent kernels after all. Stefan's kernel.org
