Made a patch out of the upstream revision.
The first test show that statistics work now. However I will test this
more throughly next week.

I could verify the issue under 11.10. Loading MenuBug.sav results in
permanent popping up of the menu, whereas other saves function as
expected.

Ubuntu does not boot on the eeePC, therefore I am unable to verify, if
the problem persists. Since I am no longer using the affected computer,
I have no problem with the janitor to take care of this report in 60
days and will not invest time in debugging the boot problems.

I totally forgot this bug, but it turned out it's a feature.
Unfortunately I can't set the bug status to "won't fix".
The problem is that Network-Manager can not see which sim card is in the
device. So there is a risk to input the pin for another sim card, which results
in looking the sim after
