I get the same error too. The same message as Pascal, "dpkg: error processing
acidlab (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 255"

Apologies for the delay, I have not been able to work on this but I am
still experiencing this problem.
Mathias - yes, I am able to connect to the mysqld server - it behaves
normally, but will not stop. How should I go about fixing the tables?
