I had the same problem. I forced evolution to rebuild indexes.
Look for folders.db files under the .evolution/mail folder. If you delete the
indexes, evolution rebuild them the next time it starts.

I have the same problem. I have a google calendar account configured in
evolution. When that account is deactivated the delay goes away.

I have a similar problem with the autofilter tool. When using the fill down
option, the cells selected are filled with the correct value but the cells not
selected are emptied.
I am using Ubuntu Hardy, Open Office 2.4.0 (32 bits).

I've got the same problem too. The menu fonts of firefox and openoffice are
different. It seems like hinting in fontconfig is disable for firefox and
openoffice.
If I disable hinting in fontconfig all my fonts look all the same.

I had the same problem but with a xfs and a reiserfs partition. I think
the problem is that mountall parses /proc/filesystem for the supported
file systems but some file systems are implemented as modules (see bug
#433672). I have modified /etc/mkinitramfs/modules with the entries for
my file syste

/etc/mkinitramfs/modules.

I have the same problem. I think it is the same problem as Debian bug #544024
(http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=544024). In the debian bug
report there is a fix that works for me:
