Binary package hint: update-manager
I updated for the new distribution version couple of days ago using the
the version upgrade utility. But now every day when I fetch and update,
it says that there is a new distribution version available. When I try
to update to the new dist
I did an update last night and the problem is still there in Kubuntu.
The about box also has the same problem. There are the BMPs in my
"/usr/lib/openoffice/program".

intro.bmp is the right one. But it uses openintro_ubuntu.bmp.

I too have the same issue. The workaround given by tomwu @

works. I don't know the implementation details but confident that there
must be an easy way to check the akonadi process states before trying to
use it and wait
I also confirm this bug. Please give it little high priority. As a
workaround I have removed openoffice.org-kde and just using the oxygen
style (openoffice.org-style-oxygen).

@asac: Just tested for Wired Ethernet, Mobile Broadband, and a VPN from
USAIP. No more 100% cpu issues on disconnect. I didn't get stuck in
"offline" after disconnecting from VPN. USAIP is PPTP. Will OpenVPN make
a difference?
