First of all, this is propably the infamous "apt race condition" bug,
also for person 'mvo', an person called 'cjwatson' sent me here and
asked to mention this :) Also I used finnish installation so all menu
descriptions might not be word-exact.
So,
FCEU freezes on my computer too using GFCEU (haven't tried otherwise), I
use 9.04 Jaunty currently...
Maybe it is related to sound system as with Ubuntu 8.10 Ubuntu changed
to PulseAudio and this is where hangs started to happend...

I have diffirent kind of problem with Logitech MX5500 dongle occurring
if I do change hiddraw to hiddev as suggested in this report...
In addition to Logitech dongle, I also have internal IBM bluetooth too,
and when I have this "patch" enabled, when computer starts, internal
bluetooth is off --> l
Maybe this behaviour should be tied for example into one installing
ubuntu-desktop package or equivalent? While it is true that for example
in server machine having NetworkManager and it controlling stuff is
generally not wanted behaviour, but when user install ubuntu in "not
official" way, like de

If it is Bluez problem, then there is little that blueman could help,
they're diffirent things, other is driver itself, other is GUI for it
basically...
But as said, I've personally noticed that blueman 1.21/stable version
that comes with Maverick doesn't work too well, but unstable version
from P
For now I suggest you could try PPA-snapshot version of next Blueman
version, I know it works way better for Maverick than current stable.
Most easy way:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:blueman/blueman-dailies && sudo apt-get
update && sudo apt-get upgrade
