I would like to add that, like the original poster, the program seems to
run fine on the frontend. The crash report comes while the app appears
to be running. This has happened in a couple different applications as
well. A crash report will appear for a program that appears to be
running fine.

Looks Like I was missing a dependecy, because I installed GnomeBake, but
crashed every time i tried adding music, so went back brasero and it is
now burning my ISOs and audio cds.

going and I'm trying to get it resolved.

Have resolved my conlfict with the following command:
dpkg --remove libc6-dev-amd64
No more dependency issues.

This issue really bugs me. My desktop is running an AMD phenom 11 quad-
core black-edition, and an ATI 4850 graphics card. Compiz is taking over
70% of my cpu.

Noticed this on a friends PC, he has fedora with gnome3 and that exact same
thing occurred Figured it was a gnome3 thing.
Your Ubuntu 9.10 is using gnome 2 right?
