I don't have any suspend issues even with Hardy if I suspend some
modules in my pm_suspend configuration. It worked very reliably. I am
yet to update to Intrepid and check. The bug can be safely closed.

I can also confirm this bug on my Thinkpad X200 with a Ultrabase. The

I tested with the latest Beta with all the latest updates. The problem
with uvcvideo seems to have gone but there is still a problem with
suspend and resume. The problematic modules now are uhci_hcd and
ehci_hcd which prevent suspend/resume. Let me know if you need any

Suspend works on 8.04 alpha 5 with the following tweaks:
After installing restricted nvidia drivers
1) add NvAGP 1 option to xorg.conf as suggested here

docking back. Its only the PCI network card which is not enabled by

I poked around a bit and trapped the uevents generated when I dock or
undock the machine (after manually loading acpiphp) using udevmonitor. I

As you can see when I undock the machine the ethernet card correctly

After installing the updates today and booting into the 2.6.24-11-386
kernel I am seeing the hard freezes again. If I press the undock button
then an undock event is correctly generated (if I do a tail -f
/var/log/kern.log I can see it) but when I physically undock the machine
it hard freezes :(

To get suspend to RAM to work I needed to compile the 2.6.24 kernel and
