longer supported so I am closing the bug (to reduce the clutter a bit).

I have not tried to test this yet, but I wonder if xfce4-keyboard-
settings is the wrong package. I can't find it in the Ubuntu Studio
seeds, or the Xubuntu seeds.

I could not reproduce this with the latest Zesty (1704) ISO. Feel free to try
the latest Daily and see if it is fixed for you.
I chose Danish for the install, Copenhagen and Danish for the keyboard during
the install. After a reboot into the system, choosing Settings > Keyboard from

To clarify my testbed, I can reliably reproduce this issue by rebooting
a laptop with Ubuntu Desktop 16.10 installed. Neither restarting the
network-manager service, nor reconnecting to the same network using the
nm-applet reproduce the issue, but rebooting does.

I now upload a new debdiff which rather than dropping back to build with
QT4, instead cherry-picks some upstream commits to get the systray menu
working, and depend upon appmenu-qt5 to get the systray icon showing.
The changes can be tested by upgrading to the verision uploaded to the Ubuntu

I just tried this on my laptop (latest Yakkety release candidate), once
running on battery, and once plugged in. I didn't see this issue.
Maybe it has been fixed since your test. I couldn't see anything in the
