flickering a lot, and there were a lot of repeated text messages (it
switched into text mode). I finally did a hard reset and tried boo
The point of this bug report is that the fix to LP#1672464 removed a
binary package name from xenial - this is like changing an API contract.
But xenial has long since shipped with this breakage, so this report can
be ignored.

Yes, debian/rules is quite messy. Actually, I think only one binary is
built and the second is a link to the first.
I can see that the version of imagemagick in Debian experimental is
supposed to contain a fix for the desktop situation, but I couldn't take

I can confirm at the first language selection screen, the first entry
"Try Ubuntu Studio without installing" is not translated. I tried Danish
and German.

I am sorry that nothing happened with this bug for such a long time. As Ubuntu
11.10 is no longer supported, this bug should probably be closed.
In addition, as Ubuntu will be switching to GNOME from Unity, it is probably
not worth forwarding upstream at this stage.

Thanks for taking the time to report this. There are much newer versions of
aeolus in Ubuntu now. Can you please confirm this is fixed in a more recent
version (eg. Ubuntu Xenial - 1604 or Artful - 1710)?

OK - we are not willing to maintain zynjacku without any upstream
support in Ubuntu Studio.
I have just removed it from our seeds, and I will reassign the bug to

Affects me too. To answer Brian's question in #15, "sudo dpkg
--configure -a" did not show (or do) anything for me, instead there was
only a message that emacs24 is left unconfigured. I will check for a bug
for that in a tick.
