After loading updates for Kubuntu 8.10, the program kept asking for the
english language to be loaded. It all ready was loaded during the inital
setup. I have seen this issue on more than one install. After I could
not get past this issue, I rebooted, it is at that time I star

No Sound cards found. KRadio shows that red cross in the panel and shows an
empty list of sound devices.

Thanks Rupert that is exactly what has been happening phantom

At ~28h uptime, after programs and buffers/cache utilized all 64GB RAM;
the problem re-occurs.
And as typical, this is now very persistent with backtraces against
snmpd, and can also be quickly triggered via cons
We now have 12 hours with our entire KVM cluster running on 3.8.0-30
with no outage. Including our high Network I/O guests now.
I will post success/failure once more this week, for final load
verification.

I'm absolutely positive this problem does not exist in 3.8.0-26, we have
6 heavy use KVM/QEMU host servers on it.
The bridge network loss definitely occurs on any of these servers, once
upgraded to 3.8.0-27, and/or 3.8.0-29. And it happens pretty quickly,
~1-2 hours max.
I can give the 3.8.0-30
It looks like we are on 24 hours uptime, with only one guest. Our only
exception to norm; Friday was a pretty light use day, the office was
very quiet.
By mid-Monday, I will do some network load tests, and load up a dozen or
so VMs. So far 3.8.0-30 seems good..

Having the same problem here with a Dell Latitude with 3 displays, 2 DP,
1VGA Ubuntu 16.04, starting using 4.8-rcX kernels and around RC3 or so
seems like the problem went away but then returned. Currently on 4.8.1
issue persists. Would be interested in any comments or workarounds.

I also got this after upgrading to oneiric.
I removed the imap resource from akonadi and added it again.
The error message changed to "Unknown Resource" when fetching mails. Also, the
akonadi self test revealed that the mysql performance tables had the wrong
structure. So it seemed that mysql ha
can confirm the Bug

This probably reflects a bug in the program.
