Mmmh... I finally decided to start m$ OS : it's also reporting a 7600GS card. The only place I can see it's a 7300GT card is at boot, where the graphic card bios loads. I finally may indeed have this kind of card - 7600GS seems anyway similar to to 7300GT, so I guess this is probably not a linux/

Mmmhhh... good question ;) I had downloaded latest nvidia installer, but it seems to me I did only use the edgy packages : appart from my latest tries on feisty, I don't remember seeing this nice nvidia installer before... Could I have messed up the feisy fawn from edgy ? Don't know if I can try
